SAP PS Consultant

We are looking for a motivated SAP Project System (PS) Consultant – L2 with 4–7 years of SAP PS consulting experience to support SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, enhancement, and AMS projects in the Power Generation Equipment sector. The ideal candidate should possess functional expertise in project planning, engineering project execution, CAPEX management, project budgeting, procurement integration, cost monitoring, settlement, and project reporting.The consultant will work closely with engineering, project management, procurement, finance, manufacturing, and site execution teams to implement SAP Project System solutions supporting power plant equipment manufacturing, EPC projects, installation, commissioning, modernization, and maintenance activities.RequirementsRequirements· Analyze business requirements related to engineering and capital project management.· Configure SAP PS for Project Definitions, WBS Elements, Networks, Activities, Milestones, and Budgeting.· Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and settlement processes.· Configure project procurement integration with SAP MM.· Support project cost planning, commitments, actual cost monitoring, and variance analysis.· Configure settlement rules and Asset Under Construction (AuC) integration.· Prepare Functional Specifications for custom developments and reports.· Coordinate with ABAP, Basis, Fiori, and Integration teams.· Execute Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and support issue resolution.· Support data migration and validation during implementation or migration projects.· Prepare user documentation and conduct end-user training.· Configure and support SAP Project System solutions for engineering and capital projects.· Collaborate with engineering, project management, procurement, manufacturing, finance, and plant operations teams.· Support project lifecycle from planning through execution, commissioning, and financial closure.· Ensure seamless integration between SAP PS and MM, FI/CO, PM, SD, PP, QM, and Asset Accounting.· Assist in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, migration, and AMS engagements.· Support project budgeting, commitment management, cost tracking, settlement, and reporting.· Participate in Fit-to-Standard workshops and business process improvement initiatives.· Prepare configuration documents, functional specifications, test scripts, and user manuals.· Perform root cause analysis for functional issues and recommend sustainable solutions.· Support Go-Live, Hypercare, and continuous process improvement activities.Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, project governance, and quality standards.
