1 BackgroundSANY America plans to upgrade from SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA and drive ERP-related digital transformation over the next 1–2 years. We are seeking an experienced U.S.-based SAP S/4HANA System Expert to work closely with China headquarters, business teams, and external implementation partners to support ERP upgrade planning, implementation, and successful delivery.This role will serve as the ERP system owner for SANY America, deeply involved throughout the ERP transformation journey. The position will act as a key bridge among business stakeholders, headquarters teams, implementation partners, and management. ERP Transformation Project ManagementLead and support the SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA upgrade project, including:Managing project scope, risks, and issuesParticipating in vendor selection and implementation consultant interviewsSupporting business blueprinting, process design, and solution designDriving system configuration and developmentCoordinating system integration testing and user acceptance testingSupporting data migration planning, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live supportMaintaining project documentation and providing regular progress updates to management3.2. Business Requirements and Process ManagementLead business requirement management and process optimization, including:Facilitating business workshops to gather and analyze requirementsDriving standardization of ERP-related business processesReviewing requirement feasibility and priorityControlling unnecessary customization and developmentKey business areas include:Finance managementSales managementInventory managementManufacturingSupply chain management3.3. System Operations and Continuous ImprovementAfter go-live, ensure stable system operations and support ongoing business development, including:User support and issue resolutionSystem configuration maintenanceBusiness process optimizationUser access and authorization managementFunctional enhancements and change request managementSAP and related certificate renewals, upgrades, and patch managementUser training and knowledge transferSystem performance optimizationInterface and background batch job monitoringDaily operations documentation management4 QualificationsRequired10+ years of SAP implementation experience5+ years of SAP S/4HANA project experienceExperience participating in at least two full-cycle large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation projectsPrior experience as a core project member, module lead, or solution leadStrong understanding of end-to-end ERP business processes in a manufacturing environmentPreferredExperience upgrading from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANAMulti-country or multi-entity rollout experienceGlobal template project experienceManufacturing digital transformation experience5 Functional ExpertiseMust be highly proficient in at least two of the following core SAP modules:FI/CO: Finance and ControllingSD: Sales and DistributionMM: Materials Management / Procurement and Inventory ManagementCandidates with FI/CO + SD or FI/CO + MM experience are highly preferred.Additional experience in the following areas is a plus:PP — Production PlanningQM — Quality ManagementEWM — Extended Warehouse ManagementService Management6 Industry ExperienceManufacturing experience is required.
