SAP Sales Distribution Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Consultant with a proven track record in Sales & Distribution processes within the Automotive sector. The consultant will play a key role in optimizing and supporting SAP SD solutions that drive efficiency across sales, billing, distribution, and customer service operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SAP SD implementations, enhancements, and support for automotive business units.Configure and optimize SAP SD processes related to vehicle sales, spare parts distribution, dealer management, aftersales, and service billing.Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design SAP solutions tailored to automotive operations.Manage integration between SAP SD and SAP MM, FI/CO, and external Dealer Management Systems (DMS).Handle AutoX DMS integration with SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment across vehicle sales, spare parts distribution, and aftersales operations.Troubleshoot and resolve SAP SD functional issues to ensure smooth business operations.Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for custom developments and enhancements.Support unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and provide end-user training.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience, streamline business processes, and improve operational efficiency.Qualifications & Experience:7–8 years of SAP SD experience; a minimum of 5 years is required.Strong hands-on experience in automotive sales and distribution processes, including vehicle sales, spare parts, and aftersales.Minimum of 2 full-cycle SAP SD implementations, preferably within the automotive domain.In-depth knowledge of Order-to-Cash (OTC), pricing, order management, invoicing, shipping, and credit management.Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with external Dealer Management Systems (DMS).Experience integrating AutoX DMS with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.Strong understanding of SAP SD integration with MM and FI/CO.Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.SAP SD certification is an advantage.
