SAP Technical Consultant - Basis & Security Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis, Security & BTP Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience, with strong expertise in RISE with SAP, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, SAP BTP Administration, SAP Security, Cloud Identity, and SAP technical operations.Key Responsibilities & Requirements6+ years of strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis and SAP Security Administration. Strong experience in RISE with SAP and S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition environments. Hands-on experience in RISE with SAP technical operations, system administration, service management, monitoring, incident management, and coordination with SAP Cloud Operations. Strong understanding of the RISE with SAP operating model, including responsibilities across SAP, customer, infrastructure, and managed cloud services. Experience supporting S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition landscapes including Development, Quality, Pre-Production, and Production systems. Strong experience in SAP HANA Database Administration, including monitoring, backup/recovery, performance analysis, and troubleshooting. Experience with SAP system upgrades, Support Packages, kernel upgrades, SAP Notes, system refreshes, migrations, and technical maintenance activities. Strong expertise in SAP BTP Administration across global accounts, directories, subaccounts, entitlements, quotas, environments, and service management. Hands-on experience managing SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and Kyma environments. Experience with BTP service instances, service keys, subscriptions, applications, destinations, connectivity, and environment configuration. Strong experience in configuring and managing BTP Destinations and SAP Connectivity services. Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Connector installation, configuration, high availability, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Experience in establishing connectivity between SAP BTP and on-premise / private cloud SAP systems. Strong understanding of BTP security, role collections, role assignments, trust configuration, entitlements, and authorization concepts. Experience with SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS). Hands-on experience in SSO, SAML 2.0, OAuth, identity federation, user provisioning, and enterprise identity integration. Experience integrating SAP BTP / IAS / IPS with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, or other corporate IAM platforms. Strong SAP Security experience covering user administration, role design, authorization concepts, PFCG, SU01, SU10, SU24, SUIM, STAUTHTRACE, and authorization troubleshooting. Experience with SAP GRC Access Control, including Access Request Management, Access Risk Analysis, Business Role Management, and Emergency Access Management. Strong understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD), critical authorizations, security controls, and audit requirements. Experience managing security for S/4HANA, Fiori, BTP, and integrated SAP applications. Strong experience with SAP Fiori Launchpad security, catalogs, spaces, pages, business roles, and authorization troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with SSL/TLS, PSE, STRUST, certificates, certificate renewal, SNC, and secure communication. Experience with SAP Web Dispatcher, SAP Gateway, ICM, SAProuter, RFC, and secure network connectivity. Experience with SAP Cloud ALM for monitoring, IT service management, and system operations. Strong knowledge of SAP system monitoring, performance management, background jobs, workload analysis, spool administration, and technical troubleshooting. Experience with SAP backup, restore, Disaster Recovery (DR), High Availability (HA), and Business Continuity concepts. Experience coordinating with SAP, hyperscaler, network, database, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams for critical incidents and technical activities. Good understanding of SAP on hyperscaler platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience in RISE migration / transformation projects, including technical readiness, connectivity, security, cutover, and post-migration support, is preferred. Experience with SAP BTP integration scenarios and SAP Integration Suite administration is preferred. Knowledge of SAP API Management, Event Mesh, Integration Suite, and related BTP services is an advantage. Strong understanding of SAP Clean Core, extensibility, and cloud architecture principles is preferred. Experience in production support, incident management, problem management, change management, and root-cause analysis. Strong documentation and technical governance skills with the ability to maintain architecture, security, operational, and configuration documentation. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively with SAP functional teams, ABAP/Fiori developers, integration teams, IAM, cybersecurity, network, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
