SAP Ariba Technical (AP Ariba implementations, MDM/S4 integration, SAP BTP architecture, and SCM analytics)Experience: 8+ Years of relevant experience.Role SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Lead – SAP Ariba Transformation & Supply Chain Analytics to lead enterprise procurement digitization, platform integration, and advanced data intelligence across Tata Electronics. Situated within the Governance, Resilience, and Excellence (GRE) organization, this role serves as the functional and technical authority for our end-to-end digital procurement ecosystem across high-tech electronics manufacturing and advanced component/semiconductor sites. The primary focus of this role is the end-to-end strategy, configuration, integration, and adoption of SAP Ariba (with specific emphasis on Sourcing, SLP and Commerce Automation), backed by Master Data Management (MDM) synchronization, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and advanced analytics, Agentic AI/GenAI solutions. You will bridge core procurement workflows with enterprise-wide data systems, driving digital transformation, spend visibility, and platform-driven operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities1. SAP Ariba Architecture, Sourcing, SLP & Commerce Automation GovernanceCore Ariba Module Ownership: Drive the multi-year strategic vision, configuration standards, and operational rollout of key Ariba modules—specifically Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), Commerce Automation, Sourcing, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).SLP & Qualification Frameworks: Design automated vendor onboarding, multi-tier supplier qualification matrices, risk scorecards, and certificate/compliance tracking via SLP to ensure strict governance before sourcing enablement.Commerce Automation & Network Operations: Lead the deployment of Ariba Commerce Automation to digitize order confirmation, Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN), cXML/EDI transmission, and automated e-invoicing between suppliers and plant logistics networks.Master Data & Process Governance: Define spend taxonomies, data hygiene standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) within SAP Ariba to maintain audit readiness and seamless system execution.2. External System Externalities, MDM & SAP BTP IntegrationEnterprise MDM & Business Partner Synchronization: Govern the technical interface between Ariba SLP and central Enterprise MDM / SAP S/4HANA Business Partner (BP) master data—ensuring bidirectional synchronization of supplier master records, tax IDs, and banking details without data drift or replication errors.BTP Integration & Middleware Architecture: Direct cross-system integration using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Cloud Integration (CPI), and REST/SOAP APIs to harmonize Ariba with S/4HANA core financial ledgers (FI-CO), Materials Management (MM), and shop-floor MES platforms.Downstream SCM Impact Management: Safeguard downstream logistics and financial execution by establishing strict validation rules for Goods Receipts (GR), Invoice Verifications (3-way matching), and material master cross-referencing.Ecosystem & Delivery Management: Oversee technical partner delivery, API middleware solution quality, platform certifications, and release management across enterprise software environments.3. Supply Chain Analytics, Automation & AI InnovationAdvanced Analytics & Control Towers: Design and maintain executive spend analytics, supplier performance dashboards, and automated control towers using Python, SQL, and enterprise BI platforms.AI & Agentic Automation: Champion the deployment of SAP Business AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI workflows to automate spend categorization, predictive risk alerts, automated vendor screening, and contract anomaly detection.Performance & Cost Intelligence: Deliver regular spend optimization insights, cost-saving identification, and SLA compliance metrics across direct and indirect spend categories.4. SCM Risk Governance & High-Tech Ecosystem AlignmentSupply Chain Resilience: Embed risk intelligence and continuity protocols within digital platforms to manage component lead times, supplier financial health, and critical single-source dependencies across precision manufacturing setups.Business Unit Alignment: Partner with cross-functional operational teams across Precision Electronics and Advanced Component assembly units to align platform capabilities with shop-floor and procurement realities.5. Stakeholder Communication & Team LeadershipExecutive Decision Support: Translate complex system architecture and spend analytics into McKinsey-grade strategic summaries, board decks, and ROI reports for senior leadership.Team Guidance: Mentor a dedicated team of digital procurement analysts and integration specialists, fostering technical rigor and continuous platform capability building.Required QualificationsExperience: 08–12 years of progressive experience centered on SAP Ariba implementations, MDM/S4 integration, SAP BTP architecture, and SCM analytics within enterprise technology, manufacturing, or digital consulting environments.Ariba & SLP/ Commerce Automation Depth: Hands-on domain expertise and strategic leadership in SAP Ariba SLP and Commerce Automation (preferably - network enablement, cXML/EDI protocols, PO/ASN/Invoice digitisation), alongside Sourcing, Contracts, and P2P.System Externalities & MDM Expertise: Deep technical understanding of how Ariba interacts with central MDM / SAP S/4HANA (MM/FI) modules—including Business Partner sync, IDoc processing, and master data cleansing protocols.Platform Integration Depth: Proven experience architecting integrations on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP / CPI) and uniting SAP modules with core ERP architectures.Analytics & AI Competency: Strong background in supply chain analytics (Python, SQL, BI tools) and practical application of SAP Business AI / GenAI / Agentic automation in procurement workflows.Education: BCA/MCA, Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field required; MBA or relevant Master's degree highly preferred.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in enterprise software product labs (e.g., SAP ecosystem) or Tier-1 management consulting practices focusing on digital procurement and MDM/ERP integration.Deep knowledge of cleanroom/semiconductor supply chain requirements, capital equipment sourcing, and direct material BOM complexity.
