SAP Technical Lead – ABAP / Basis / BTPLocation: ThailandEmployment Type: PermanentFunction: SAP / Enterprise TechnologyAbout the RoleWe are currently supporting a leading organisation in Thailand that is looking to appoint an experienced SAP Technical Lead to provide technical leadership across its SAP landscape.This is a senior technical position requiring broad SAP expertise across ABAP, SAP Basis and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).The successful candidate will work across SAP development, platform administration, integration and technical architecture, collaborating closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, developers and external partners.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership across the organisation's SAP landscapeLead and oversee SAP ABAP development, enhancements, customisations and technical solutionsProvide technical oversight across SAP Basis administration and platform activitiesSupport the adoption and development of solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)Translate functional and business requirements into appropriate technical solutionsReview technical designs, developments and integrations to ensure quality and adherence to SAP standardsSupport integration between SAP and wider enterprise applicationsTroubleshoot complex SAP technical, integration, performance and production issuesSupport SAP upgrades, migrations, enhancements and transformation programmesWork closely with SAP functional consultants across different modulesCoordinate technical activities with internal teams, vendors and implementation partnersEstablish and maintain technical development standards and best practicesSupport testing, deployment and production release activitiesMentor and provide technical guidance to SAP developers and technical team membersIdentify opportunities to improve the performance, scalability and maintainability of the SAP environmentKey RequirementsStrong professional experience working within SAP technical environmentsStrong experience with SAP ABAP developmentGood knowledge of SAP BasisExperience or strong knowledge of SAP BTPBroad understanding of SAP architecture and enterprise SAP landscapesExperience with SAP integrations and interfacesStrong understanding of SAP development standards and technical best practicesExperience supporting complex SAP implementations, upgrades or transformation programmesStrong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skillsPrevious experience leading technical teams, workstreams or SAP projectsAbility to work effectively across technical and functional teamsStrong stakeholder and vendor management capabilitiesExcellent communication skillsAdvantageous ExperienceSAP S/4HANA environmentsSAP cloud transformation programmesBTP integration and extension developmentSAP Integration SuiteSAP Fiori / UI5SAP HANALarge-scale SAP migrations or upgradesExperience working within complex regional or multinational environmentsThe OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SAP technical professional to take a leadership role across a complex SAP environment in Thailand.You will have the opportunity to influence technical direction, work across modern SAP technologies including BTP and contribute to ongoing SAP transformation and modernisation initiatives.
