The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for students aiming for top global universities.The trainer will be responsible for conducting structured classes, creating practice material, analyzing student performance, clearing doubts, and helping students improve accuracy, speed, and conceptual clarity.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct engaging and concept-driven classes for SAT Maths and AP Physics students.Teach all major SAT Maths topics, including Algebra, Advanced Maths, Problem Solving and Data Analysis, Geometry, and Trigonometry.Train students for AP Physics topics such as Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Waves, Thermodynamics, Circuits, and other relevant units based on the AP curriculum.Build strong conceptual foundations and help students apply concepts to exam-style questions.Prepare students for both easy and advanced-level problem-solving, especially high-difficulty questions.Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, mock tests, and doubt-clearing material.Analyze student performance through tests and practice sessions.Identify weak areas and create targeted improvement plans for students.Conduct doubt-clearing sessions individually or in groups.Guide students on exam strategies, time management, question selection, accuracy, and pacing.Maintain regular academic progress records and share feedback with the academic/counselling team.Stay updated with the latest SAT and AP exam patterns, question trends, and College Board guidelines.Motivate students and help them build confidence for high-stakes exams.Required Skills and QualificationsStrong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.Prior teaching experience in SAT Maths and/or AP Physics is preferred.Excellent command over high school Maths and Physics concepts.Familiarity with the Digital SAT format and AP Physics curriculum.Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, structured, and student-friendly manner.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work with high-achieving students targeting competitive scores.Comfortable using online teaching tools, digital whiteboards, and learning platforms.Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience teaching international curricula such as IB, IGCSE, AP, A-Levels, or US High School curriculum.Proven track record of helping students achieve strong SAT/AP scores.Experience creating academic content, worksheets, and mock tests.Prior experience with test-prep institutions or study abroad-focused education companies.Ability to teach both one-on-one and group batches.Key CompetenciesConceptual clarityStrong exam orientationStudent-centric teaching approachPatience and adaptabilityPerformance tracking and feedback skillsHigh ownership and accountabilityAbility to simplify advanced Maths and Physics conceptsResult-driven mentoring approachRole ExpectationsThe trainer should be able to help students not just understand concepts but also apply them effectively in timed exam conditions.
