Enlace also organizes educational tours and experiential learning activities that blend academic enrichment with real-world exposure, fostering curiosity, confidence, and global awareness.Role Description The SAT Tutor is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra. The tutor will deliver high-quality SAT instruction to small groups and individual students, focusing on test content, strategies, and time management skills. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching scheduled classes, assigning and reviewing practice tests, and providing targeted feedback to help learners improve their scores. The role also involves tracking student progress, communicating regularly with families or guardians, and collaborating with the Enlace team to align tutoring support with broader mentorship and education programs. The tutor will contribute to a supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement, confidence, and readiness for university admissions.Qualifications Strong SAT content knowledge in Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.Demonstrated teaching, tutoring, or classroom experience, preferably with secondary school or test-prep students.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and build trust with students and families.Organizational and time management skills for lesson planning, progress tracking, and managing multiple student schedules.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, English, or a related field; advanced test scores on the SAT or similar exams are an advantage.Comfort working on-site in Accra, with a commitment to punctuality, professional conduct, and collaborative teamwork.Experience supporting first-generation or underserved students is beneficial, along with cultural sensitivity and an inclusive teaching approach.Ability to use digital tools for practice tests, reporting, and instructional materials; familiarity with online test-prep resources is a plus.Must have at least one year experience as a GRE or SAT tutor.
