Key Responsibilities1.Customs Documentation ManagementPrepare, review, and validate all import/export documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other customs-required paperwork).Ensure every document is accurate, complete, and fully compliant with Saudi Customs regulations and SILZ requirements.2.Customs Clearance ExecutionManage end-to-end clearance processes at ports and SILZ gates, including declaration, inspection handling, and cargo release.Quickly resolve clearance issues such as document discrepancies, system errors, or inspection holds to avoid delays.3.Duty & Customs Exemption ManagementSupport duty payment processes and handle exemption applications in line with local customs and tax laws.Execute duty optimization strategies while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.4.Cross-functional Logistics CoordinationWork closely with warehouse teams, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders.Track shipments from departure to factory receipt, ensuring full end-to-end visibility and control.5.Exception Handling & Problem ResolutionAct as the primary operational contact for any customs or logistics exceptions.Rapidly identify issues, correct documentation errors, and coordinate with all parties to resolve disruptions – minimizing demurrage, storage fees, and shipment delays.6.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure all import/export activities strictly adhere to Saudi Customs laws and SILZ regulations.Proactively prevent compliance risks, including penalties, shipment holds, and regulatory violations.7.Operational Efficiency & Process OptimizationContinuously improve clearance workflows to reduce lead time, avoid port congestion charges, and enhance overall supply chain performance.8.Production Continuity Support (Top Priority)Guarantee timely clearance and delivery of inbound materials to keep factory operations running without interruption.Your ultimate KPI: zero production line stoppage caused by customs or logistics issues.RequirementsExperience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on customs clearance experience in Saudi Arabia. Manufacturing industry background is preferred. Experience with bonded customs zones is a strong plus.System Knowledge: Proficient in Fasah and Bayan (Saudi customs/government systems). Comfortable working within system-driven, standardized processes.Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English – you will directly communicate with Saudi customs officers and the international business team.Execution & Problem-Solving: Strong execution capability; able to fix documentation errors quickly and efficiently under pressure.On-site Commitment: Willing to work on-site at locations designated by the company in Saudi Arabia.
