📢 WE ARE HIRING | SCADA & Telecommunication Engineer – HV/EHV Substation📍 Location: Dubai, UAE🏢 POWERCHINA JEPCC – Middle East & Africa Regional HeadquartersWe are expanding our Dubai Engineering Design Team and are looking for an experienced SCADA & Telecommunication Engineer with a strong background in HV/EHV Substation Design.Key Responsibilities• Design SCADA, Substation Automation and Telecommunication Systems for HV/EHV substations• Develop SCADA/communication system architecture, block diagrams and fiber-optic network drawings• Prepare and review RTU / BCU / IED interfaces, signal lists and I/O lists• Coordinate interfaces between Protection Relays, IEDs, BCU, RTU, SCADA and Control Centre systems• Support IEC 61850-based Substation Automation Systems (SAS) and teleprotection communication integration• Review vendor technical documents and support FAT, SAT, system integration and commissioningRequirements✓ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering or related discipline✓ Minimum 5 years of relevant Substation SCADA / Automation / Telecommunication experience✓ Strong knowledge of SCADA, RTU, BCU, IED and fiber-optic communication systems✓ Good knowledge of IEC 61850 and Protection & Control interfaces✓ Experience in FAT/SAT and system integration✓ Good professional English communication skillsHighly Preferred⭐ Direct UAE/GCC project experience⭐ Hands-on engineering/design background, not only site execution⭐ Experience with HV/EHV Substation projects⭐ Knowledge of IEC 60870-5-101/104⭐ Experience with Siemens, Hitachi Energy/ABB, Schneider, GE or equivalent systems⭐ Previous experience with GCC utilities / major Power EPC projects⚠️ Important: We are looking for an engineer with genuine Substation SCADA/Automation DESIGN experience.
