SCADA Systems Analyst

What is the position?The SCADA Systems Analyst is a senior technical role focused on designing, integrating, and supporting SCADA and operational technology (OT) solutions. This position partners across technical and business teams to improve system reliability, operational data availability, and enterprise integration while providing technical leadership and supporting continuous improvement.What are the responsibilities?As a SCADA Systems Analyst, you will:Evaluate complex SCADA challenges and develop scalable solutions that address current and future operational needs.Lead technical efforts, mentor team members, and help keep projects aligned with established timelines.Gather business and operational requirements and convert them into functional SCADA designs and system enhancements.Build and support OT data pipelines connecting SCADA platforms, edge technologies, industrial systems, and enterprise data environments.Monitor and improve data reliability by resolving communication, integration, performance, and data-quality issues.Develop processes that prepare and contextualize operational data for analytics, reporting, machine learning, and business decision-making.Partner with Operations, Engineering, OT, and IT teams to promote automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.What are the requirements?Bachelor’s degree8+ years of SCADA or technical team leadership experienceHands-on experience with ClearSCADA, AutoSol, Kepware, OPC, and industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and MQTTStrong SQL capabilities and familiarity with enterprise data and analytics technologies such as Databricks, Python, Power BI, and cloud-based architecturesProven ability to troubleshoot complex OT integrations, communication failures, and operational data-quality concernsKnowledge of networking, telecommunications, flow computer protocols, and industrial systems; energy industry experience is beneficialStrong communication, collaboration, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a safety-focused mindsetDatabase development and management experience and Windows programming skills such as Python, VBScript, or Ladder Logic are preferredYou would be really happy here if:Roadblocks don’t intimidate you.
