Scaffolding ForemanWe are seeking an experienced Scaffolding Foreman to lead and supervise all scaffolding activities on major EPC Oil & Gas projects. Join a business with deep technical roots, where your voice is heard, your impact is visible, and your career is part of a legacy of excellence.Your RoleAs Scaffolding Foreman, you will have the following areas of accountabilitiesScaffolding Planning & ExecutionPlan, coordinate, and supervise daily scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling activities.Ensure scaffolds, access platforms, ladders, and temporary structures are installed according to approved drawings, load ratings, and project specifications.Verify scaffold supports, bracing systems, tie-ins, and anchoring arrangements to ensure stability and safety.Ensure scaffolding solutions meet operational requirements for mechanical, electrical, civil, insulation, and painting activities.Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with project schedules and quality standards.Workforce Supervision & Team ManagementLead and supervise scaffolders, helpers, riggers, and subcontractor personnel.Allocate daily work assignments and monitor workforce productivity and performance.Conduct toolbox talks, pre-job briefings, and safety discussions.Mentor team members on scaffolding best practices, standards, and safe work procedures.Maintain discipline, attendance records, and efficient manpower utilization.Safety, Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnforce all HSE policies, Permit-to-Work requirements, and PPE compliance.Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments for scaffolding activities.Ensure compliance with OSHA, BS EN 12811, project specifications, and QA/QC requirements.Inspect scaffolds before use and identify hazards, defective components, or stability concerns.Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately and implement corrective actions.Material, Tools & Equipment ManagementEnsure availability of scaffolding materials, tools, and accessories.Monitor proper storage, handling, and maintenance of scaffold components.Minimize material waste and maximize resource utilization.Maintain scaffold tools and equipment in safe working condition.Coordination & CommunicationLiaise with engineers, construction supervisors, safety personnel, and other trades to support project requirements.Communicate daily progress, challenges, and resource needs to project management.Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of scaffolding materials.Participate in project planning and progress meetings.Documentation & ReportingMaintain daily activity reports, inspection records, and material tracking logs.Monitor manpower utilization and scaffold installation/removal progress.Support QA/QC processes, inspection requests, punch-list closure, and project documentation.Assist with as-built scaffold records and certification requirements.What We’re Looking ForExperience8-10 years of experience in scaffolding supervision within Oil & Gas, EPC, industrial, or large-scale construction projectsEducation and CertificationsDiploma in a relevant technical fieldSkills and CompetenciesStrong knowledge of scaffolding systems, standards, design principles, and safe erection practicesAbility to read and interpret scaffold drawings, load calculations, and layout plansExperience supervising multi-disciplinary scaffolding teams and subcontractorsStrong understanding of HSE requirements, risk management, and safe work practicesExcellent planning, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skillsEffective communication, reporting, and stakeholder coordination abilitiesProven ability to work under pressure and deliver within demanding project schedulesWhat We OfferThe chance to contribute to some of UAE’s Oil and Gas EPC Mega projects.A collaborative, supportive environment that values innovation and excellence.Opportunities for professional growth and career progression.Competitive salary and benefits package.Ready to be part of our team?If you’re inspired by what you’ve read and believe you’re the right fit, we’d love to hear from you.Join Target Engineering and Construction Co.
