Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe’re Hiring: School Health CoordinatorPrinceton Montessori School is seeking a School Health Coordinator to join our community and oversee the daily operation of our school health office.We’re looking for a calm, dependable, and welcoming professional who can help children feel at ease while making sound decisions, maintaining clear procedures, and communicating thoughtfully with families and colleagues.Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, age-appropriate care to students who are ill or injured
- Assess health concerns and determine appropriate next steps
- Administer medications in accordance with school policies, physician instructions, and applicable regulations
- Maintain and implement individualized health plans, including allergy, asthma, and seizure action plans
- Respond appropriately to urgent health situations and school emergencies
- Maintain accurate, confidential health records and documentation
- Track immunizations and required health documentation and support compliance with applicable requirements
- Coordinate or conduct required student health screenings
- Communicate with families and school personnel regarding student health and communicable illnesses
- Support the development and implementation of health policies and emergency procedures
- Provide administrative support to the school as time permitsQualifications
- Current New Jersey RN or LPN license
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain promptly
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Sound judgment and the ability to remain calm in urgent situations
- Commitment to confidentiality and discretion
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy school environment
- Basic proficiency with Google Workspace and electronic recordkeeping systems
- Authorization to work in the United StatesSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PMSalary: Starting at $68,000 annually, 12-month position; commensurate with licensure and experience
