قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجSCHOOL PRINCIPALLocation: Imo State, Nigeria Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: ₦350,000 – ₦400,000 MonthlyAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven School Principal to provide strong academic, administrative, and strategic leadership for a reputable school in Imo State.The ideal candidate must have proven experience working within a British Curriculum school environment and the ability to lead teaching and non-teaching staff while maintaining high standards of academic excellence, student welfare, discipline, and school operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic & Curriculum Leadership- Provide strategic leadership for teaching and learning across the school.- Ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement of the British Curriculum.- Monitor lesson delivery, assessment, student performance, and academic outcomes.- Establish academic targets and implement strategies to improve student achievement.- Promote innovative and effective teaching and learning practices.- Ensure appropriate preparation for relevant internal and external examinations.Staff Leadership & Development- Lead, supervise, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.- Set clear performance expectations and monitor staff performance.- Coordinate staff meetings, training, professional development, and performance reviews.- Foster a collaborative, disciplined, and high-performing school culture.- Participate in recruitment and onboarding of academic and support staff.School Administration & Operations- Oversee the day-to-day academic and administrative operations of the school.- Ensure school policies, procedures, and standards are consistently implemented.- Maintain effective systems for attendance, student records, assessments, and reporting.- Work with management on budgeting, resource allocation, facilities, and school improvement initiatives.- Ensure compliance with relevant educational regulations and standards.Student Welfare & Safeguarding- Promote a safe, inclusive, disciplined, and supportive learning environment.- Oversee student welfare, behaviour management, and disciplinary procedures.- Ensure appropriate safeguarding and child-protection practices are maintained.- Encourage students' academic, social, emotional, and character development.Parent & Stakeholder Relations- Build strong relationships with parents, guardians, staff, and other stakeholders.- Handle parent concerns professionally and promptly.- Represent the school at relevant meetings, events, and external engagements.- Support the school's admissions, retention, reputation, and growth objectives.Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Management, or a related field.- Master's degree or relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.- Minimum of 8–10 years' experience in education, with at least 4–5 years in a senior leadership position.- Proven experience managing or leading a British Curriculum school.- Strong understanding of British Curriculum standards, assessment, and teaching practices.- Demonstrated experience managing teaching and non-teaching staff.- Strong knowledge of school administration, student welfare, and safeguarding.- Excellent leadership, communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.- High level of integrity, professionalism, emotional intelligence, and discretion.- TRCN registration or relevant educational leadership certification is an added advantage.Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate should be a confident educational leader who can lead people, improve academic outcomes, maintain discipline, and drive the overall growth of the school.Application: Qualified candidates should submit their updated CV to ftbtalents@gmail.com for consideration.
