We're partnering with a school district in Wayne County, Michigan to hire a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year.This full-time, onsite opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact supporting K–12 students through comprehensive evaluations, consultation, intervention planning, and collaboration with educators and families. In this role, you'll help promote students' academic achievement, social-emotional well-being, and behavioral success while supporting special education and general education initiatives across the district.Position Details:Location: Onsite in Wayne County, MISchedule: Full-Time, Monday–FridayWeekly Hours: 40 hours per weekSchool Year: 2026–2027Grade Levels: K–12Responsibilities:Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, adaptive, and social-emotional assessments.Interpret assessment results and communicate findings effectively to parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.Participate in special education eligibility determinations and support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs.Support the implementation of evidence-based academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.Conduct observations, data collection, and progress monitoring to support student success.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and manifestation determinations as needed.Assist with crisis intervention, threat assessment, and student support initiatives.Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.Qualifications:Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited programValid Michigan School Psychologist certificate, approval, or license through the Michigan Department of EducationExperience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting preferredKnowledge of IDEA, Section 504, special education eligibility, and IEP processesStrong assessment, report-writing, communication, and collaboration skillsAbility to work effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teamsCommitment to supporting the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of K–12 studentsWhat We Offer:Competitive pay and benefits package.Access to a wide network of schools and districts for diverse placement options.Streamlined hiring process to get you started quickly.Ongoing communication and advocacy throughout your placement.Personalized support from dedicated recruiting professionals.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Why Apply?If you're passionate about creating positive change and supporting students' success, this is the opportunity for you!
