This full-time opportunity offers a hybrid schedule, allowing you to work four days onsite and one day remotely each week while supporting students across multiple schools.Position DetailsFull-time, 37.5 hours per weekSchool Year: August 3, 2026 – May 27, 2027Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day work-from-homeItinerant position serving 3 schoolsWorking with students in Kindergarten through 12th gradeApproximate caseload of 50 studentsCollaborate with administrators, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and well-beingResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed evaluation reports.Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.Assist in developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed.Support crisis intervention, prevention, and school-based mental health initiatives.Collaborate with school staff to promote positive learning environments and student success.Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.QualificationsMaster's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.Valid South Carolina School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification.Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting is preferred.Strong assessment, report writing, communication, and consultation skills.Ability to manage an itinerant schedule and collaborate effectively across multiple school sites.Why Birch Agency?Competitive weekly pay starting at $70/hour & dependent on experienceMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with company matchPaid Time OffDedicated recruiter support throughout your assignmentOpportunity to work with a respected leader in special education and therapy staffingIf you're passionate about supporting students' academic, behavioral, and emotional success while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, we'd love to hear from you!Apply today to join Birch Agency and make a lasting impact on students throughout the Newberry, SC community!#cat3
