Bilingual / Monolingual School Psychologist (CPSE Program)Queens, New YorkJob Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Direct Hire | On-SiteSchedule: School Calendar Schedule (Includes 6-Week Summer Program & Built-In Administrative Days)An established Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) program in Jamaica, Queens, is seeking a full-time Bilingual or Monolingual School Psychologist to join its multidisciplinary therapeutic team.Working with children ages 3–5 in a specialized school setting, you will conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, deliver IEP-mandated counseling, and collaborate closely with an experienced team of special education teachers, social workers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. New graduates holding state certification are warmly welcomed to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and gather detailed social and developmental histories for children ages 3–5Prepare clear, thorough diagnostic, psychological, and behavioral reports in alignment with clinical standardsProvide evidence-based recommendations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design effective behavioral and developmental interventionsDeliver individual and group counseling, as well as parent training, in accordance with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Participate actively in treatment planning, interdisciplinary case conferences, feedback sessions, annual reviews, and official IEP meetingsFoster positive, collaborative communication among clinical supervisors, school staff, and student familiesMaintain strict compliance with all relevant New York State, CPSE, and agency regulations and standards

Qualifications
