Location: Walled Lake, MIFull-time positionIn-person assignmentCompetitive compensationSupportive multidisciplinary team environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on student successCurrent school year assignmentResponsibilitiesConduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students referred for special education services.Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports.Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions.Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student success.Provide consultation regarding behavioral, academic, social, and emotional interventions.Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans and student support strategies.Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.Collaborate with school teams to address student needs and support educational outcomes.Promote positive school climate initiatives and support student mental health and well-being.RequirementsValid Michigan School Psychologist certification or licensure required.Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing evaluation reports.Knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and best practices.Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills.Previous school-based experience preferred.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Why Join Birch Agency?Join a team dedicated to supporting students and empowering educational professionals.
