This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative school environment, supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success.Position OverviewAs a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in helping students thrive by conducting evaluations, participating in multidisciplinary teams, and providing consultation and support to educators, families, and school staff. The ideal candidate is passionate about student achievement and committed to fostering positive educational outcomes.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed reports.Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers.Provide consultation regarding behavioral, social-emotional, and academic interventions.Assist in crisis intervention and student support planning when needed.Monitor student progress and make recommendations for appropriate educational services.Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.QualificationsMaster's, Specialist, or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology.Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification/approval.Previous school-based experience preferred.Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Position Details
