PVT. School in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The School Security team member is responsible for monitoring entrances, exits, and common areas to ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors. Daily tasks include patrolling school grounds, supervising arrival and dismissal times, checking identification for visitors, and enforcing school safety policies and procedures. The role also involves responding to incidents, reporting safety concerns, supporting emergency drills, and collaborating with school leadership to maintain a secure learning environment.Qualifications Demonstrated ability to monitor facilities, manage access control, and maintain a visible presence to deter unsafe or unauthorized activities.Experience in safety or security roles, ideally within a school, educational, or community setting.Strong observation, situational awareness, and incident reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Clear and respectful communication skills in English; ability to communicate calmly and effectively with students, staff, and visitors.Ability to remain composed under pressure, follow emergency procedures, and support evacuation or lockdown drills.High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality and child protection standards.Willingness to work on-site full time, including during peak school hours and special events as needed.Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety practices; prior security training or certification is an asset.Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol school grounds for extended periods.Previous experience in the UAE or in multicultural environments is beneficial.
