Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout Luminee LearningAt Luminee Learning, we believe every child deserves access to great education — one that is personalised, engaging and effective.We are an A*STAR spin-off building AI-powered learning experiences that help children learn confidently and independently.Through our AI learning companion, Coach Kyu, and our adaptive learning platform, we help students identify learning gaps, understand their mistakes and improve through personalised practice and step-by-step guidance.Our goal is simple: Help every child learn independently, but never alone.As we continue to grow across Singapore and Southeast Asia, we are looking for passionate educators who want to shape the future of learning.About the RoleWe are looking for a Science Lead (Learning Excellence) to lead the quality and effectiveness of Science learning on Luminee Learning.You will be our subject-matter expert for Singapore Primary Science (P3–P6), ensuring that our curriculum, questions, AI-generated explanations, marking and personalised learning experiences meet the highest educational standards.Beyond developing high-quality content, you will help us answer a bigger question: How can we use AI to help every child understand Science better, overcome misconceptions and achieve measurable learning progress?You will work closely with our Teaching & Learning, Product, AI Engineering and Learning Analytics teams to continuously improve the learning experience.This is an opportunity for an experienced educator to extend their impact beyond the classroom and help thousands of children become confident, independent learners.Key Responsibilities1.

Lead Science Curriculum and Learning ExcellenceOwn the academic quality, syllabus alignment and pedagogical effectiveness of Science learning across Primary 3 to Primary 6.Develop and refine curriculum frameworks, learning objectives and concept progressions aligned with Singapore's MOE Science syllabus.Identify common misconceptions, conceptual gaps and learning difficulties, and design effective strategies to address them.Ensure our learning experiences develop strong conceptual understanding, scientific reasoning and application skills, not just examination techniques.Establish and maintain high standards for questions, model answers, marking rubrics and worked explanations.2. Develop High-Quality Learning Content and AssessmentsLead the development, review and improvement of Science questions and assessments, including MCQs and open-ended questions.Ensure questions reflect appropriate difficulty levels, curriculum requirements and current PSLE assessment styles.Develop clear, age-appropriate explanations that help students understand scientific concepts and learn from their mistakes.Design targeted practice and revision approaches that reinforce understanding and build mastery.Maintain a rigorous quality assurance process to ensure content accuracy, consistency and educational value.3. Improve AI-Powered Teaching and FeedbackWork closely with our AI and Product teams to continuously improve Coach Kyu's ability to teach, explain and assess Science.Evaluate the accuracy and pedagogical quality of AI-generated answers, marking and feedback.Develop marking rubrics, benchmark questions and evaluation standards to improve AI reliability, particularly for open-ended Science responses.Identify recurring AI errors, misconceptions or weaknesses in explanations, and work with engineers to address their underlying causes.Help develop more effective AI tutoring approaches that guide students through scientific reasoning rather than simply providing answers.4. Drive Learning Effectiveness and Student OutcomesUse student performance data and learning analytics to identify areas where students struggle and opportunities to improve learning outcomes.Work with our Learning Analytics team to evaluate the effectiveness of questions, explanations, feedback and adaptive learning pathways.Recommend and test improvements that help students overcome misconceptions and demonstrate sustained mastery.Translate learning insights into actionable recommendations for curriculum, content and product development.Support the measurement and validation of improvements in student understanding, confidence and academic performance.5.
