The role involves reviewing scientific data, interpreting research findings, preparing technical recommendations, and communicating complex scientific concepts clearly to different stakeholders.Key responsibilities include conducting scientific research, reviewing academic literature, analyzing research findings, evaluating methodologies, and gathering relevant information from reliable scientific and technical sources. The role will assess the quality, relevance, and limitations of available evidence to support project objectives and strategic decisions.The position will collaborate with internal teams, researchers, technical specialists, project managers, and external stakeholders to understand scientific requirements and develop practical recommendations. Responsibilities may include preparing research summaries, technical reports, scientific presentations, briefing materials, and evidence-based documentation.The Scientific Consultant may support the evaluation of scientific projects, technologies, products, processes, or research proposals. The role will help identify potential opportunities, technical challenges, methodological limitations, and areas requiring further investigation.Additional responsibilities include monitoring developments in relevant scientific fields, reviewing emerging technologies and research trends, supporting data interpretation, and contributing to scientific communication activities. The role may also assist with experimental planning, research documentation, technical assessments, and quality-control reviews where appropriate.The successful candidate should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, scientific curiosity, research ability, and attention to detail. The ability to evaluate complex information objectively and translate technical findings into practical recommendations is essential.Strong communication skills are important because the role may require presenting scientific information to both technical and non-technical audiences. The candidate should be able to explain methodologies, findings, limitations, and recommendations in a clear, structured, and professional manner.QualificationsBachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or equivalent qualification in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Materials Science, or another relevant scientific discipline.Strong understanding of scientific research principles, methodologies, evidence evaluation, and technical analysis.Ability to conduct structured literature reviews and research using academic journals, scientific databases, technical publications, and other reliable sources.Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to evaluate scientific evidence and identify relevant findings.Understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods and basic statistical concepts.Ability to interpret scientific data, research results, technical reports, charts, tables, and experimental findings.Strong scientific writing and documentation skills with the ability to prepare clear technical reports and research summaries.Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with scientific research databases, reference-management tools, data-analysis software, or laboratory information systems is advantageous.Understanding of research ethics, data integrity, confidentiality, responsible research practices, and appropriate source attribution.Strong attention to detail when reviewing research methods, datasets, scientific documentation, and technical information.Ability to identify potential limitations, inconsistencies, assumptions, and knowledge gaps within scientific information.Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to evaluating scientific and technical challenges.Ability to collaborate effectively with researchers, engineers, analysts, project managers, and subject-matter specialists.Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple research and consulting activities.Ability to prepare professional presentations, technical briefs, research reports, and evidence-based recommendations.Adaptable and curious mindset with an interest in emerging scientific developments, technologies, and research methodologies.Commitment to accuracy, objectivity, scientific integrity, and evidence-based decision-making.
