Tailor my CV for this job — freeCompany Description AllerGene AI Therapeutics is a biotechnology company developing in vivo mRNA CAR-T therapies for severe allergies, mast cell diseases, and select leukemias. The company’s platform combines novel CAR targets with targeted lipid nanoparticles to deliver mRNA directly to immune cells, enabling them to recognize and eliminate disease-driving cells. By engineering cells within the body, AllerGene AI Therapeutics aims to broaden access to cell therapies and provide transient, controllable CAR expression. The lead program focuses on mast cell depletion, with the goal of moving beyond symptom management and transforming care for patients with significant unmet medical needs. Team members help pioneer therapeutics at the intersection of immunology, genetic engineering, and advanced drug delivery.Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Scientist role based in Miami, FL. The Scientist will design, execute, and analyze experiments to advance in vivo mRNA CAR-T programs, including optimizing CAR constructs, mRNA and lipid nanoparticle formulations, gene modification of primary T and NK cells, co-cultures with primary and cell-line targets, and testing T cell functionality. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and performing in vitro and in vivo studies, troubleshooting assay development, interpreting complex data sets, and documenting results in electronic lab notebooks. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams in biology, chemistry, and bioinformatics to refine hypotheses, improve experimental design, and support preclinical development. The Scientist will contribute to study reports, presentations, and regulatory documentation, while helping to maintain a high-quality laboratory environment and uphold safety and compliance standards.QualificationsStrong foundation in immunology, cell biology, or molecular biology, with experience in immune cell characterization and functional assays.Hands-on skills in molecular and cellular techniques such as flow cytometry, cell culture, transfection, electroporation, PCR/qPCR, and protein or gene expression analysis.Experience with in vivo or translational research, including animal handling, dosing, and tissue collection, or equivalent preclinical models.Familiarity with nucleic acid or lipid-based therapeutics, mRNA technologies, or drug delivery systems, particularly lipid nanoparticles.Proficiency in data analysis, experimental design, and statistical interpretation using tools such as GraphPad Prism, R, Python, or similar software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to document work clearly and present findings to scientific and cross-functional teams.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment and to manage multiple experiments and deadlines.PhD or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Immunology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Pharmacology) or MS/BS with strong industry or laboratory experience.Experience in immunology, oncology, and gene & cell therapy
