Ltd.Position Type: Full-timeInnovodigm is seeking a skilled scientist with hands-on experience in virology, live attenuated viral vaccines, cell culture and vaccine formulation.Key responsibilities:Handle measles, rubella or similar viral vaccine strains in an appropriate biosafety laboratory.Conduct mammalian cell culture, virus propagation, infectivity testing and potency evaluation.Perform assays such as CCID₅₀/TCID₅₀, plaque assays, cytopathic effect (CPE) assessment and immunoassays.Support vaccine formulation and stability studies.Analyse experimental results and troubleshoot viral potency and cell-culture assays.Prepare protocols, experimental records, stability reports and regulatory documentation.Follow applicable biosafety, aseptic-processing, GLP and GMP requirements.Qualifications and experience:M.Sc., M.Tech., M.Pharm., Ph.D. or an equivalent qualification in Virology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Immunology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field, or B.Tech in biotech with 3-5 years experience in relevant field.Approximately 2–5 years of relevant laboratory or industry experience.Demonstrated experience in handling viruses, preferably measles, rubella, mumps or other live attenuated vaccine viruses.Experience with Vero cells or other vaccine-production cell lines is strongly preferred.Understanding of vaccine formulation, stabilization, lyophilization or other controlled drying technologies will be an advantage.Familiarity with BSL-2 practices, aseptic techniques, GLP/GMP documentation and vaccine quality-control requirements.Ideal candidate:The ideal candidate will combine strong virology and cell-culture expertise with a keen interest in vaccine formulation.
