The company fosters a supportive work culture with opportunities for skills development and advancement in the dive industry.Role Description The Scuba Diving Instructor will deliver classroom and in-water training sessions for beginner and advanced divers, following recognized certification standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting training dives, supervising students during pool and open water sessions, and ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols. The instructor will brief and debrief divers, assess skill progression, maintain dive logs and documentation, and assist with equipment checks and basic maintenance. Additional duties include providing customer service at the dive center, supporting sales of courses and experiences, and participating in promotional or educational events. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam, requiring regular work on weekends and holidays as per operational needs.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Scuba Diving Instruction skills with proven experience delivering structured training programs.Candidates should possess practical Diving and Scuba Diving skills, including safe buoyancy control, underwater navigation, and emergency management.Candidates should possess knowledge of SSI or equivalent international training standards and maintain active instructor-level certification.Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, including clear communication, patience, and the ability to support diverse learners.Additional beneficial qualifications include current first aid and CPR certification, experience in equipment handling, and familiarity with local dive sites.Ability to work flexible hours, maintain physical fitness suitable for repeated dives, and communicate effectively in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
