- Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications across frontend and backend systems
- Build responsive and scalable user interfaces using React
- Develop secure, maintainable, and high-performance backend services using Node.js
- Build AI-powered and agentic features end to end: integrating LLMs, designing prompts and tool-use flows, and wiring up retrieval, evaluation, and guardrails
- Write clean, reusable, well-tested code following engineering best practices
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions, bringing an AI-native lens to how problems can be solved
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions
- Troubleshoot production issues, improve system reliability, and optimize application performance
- Mentor junior engineers and help raise the team's bar on both engineering and AI-native practicesMust-Have Skills
- TypeScript for scalable and maintainable codebases
- Next.js for server-side rendering and modern React-based applications
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js for backend development
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js for frontend development
- Solid experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and backend architecture patterns
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals
- Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Ability to independently own features and deliver high-quality, production-ready code
- AI-native thinking: comfort using LLMs and AI tools in daily development and a default instinct to consider AI-powered solutionsStrongly Preferred
- Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems (orchestration, tool use, memory, evaluation)
- Experience integrating LLMs into production applications: prompt engineering, retrieval (RAG), function/tool calling, and working across multiple model providers
- A track record of shipping AI features that moved real product or business outcomesQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of professional full stack software development experience
- Proven track record of delivering scalable web applications in production environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to debugging and performance optimization
