Ltd. strives to create the most engaging and evocative experience for customers globally across a range of products, including slots and live casino.About the Role We are looking for an SDE - II (Backend) to develop scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, optimize, and maintain backend services while following coding standards and best engineering practices. This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building reliable, efficient software.Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Leads and Product teams to align technical direction and deliverables
• Support design and code reviews within the team
• Write highly optimized and performant code using appropriate design patterns and data structures
• Take part in architectural discussions and drive changes to support business goals
• Contribute to initiatives to re-architect sub-systems as needed to support business growthRequirementsKey Skills
• Strong experience working on highly scalable systems
• Development experience in Core Java programming and related backend Java frameworks such as Spring
• Good grasp of distributed programming concepts, with the ability to evaluate the pros and cons of each approach
• Strong understanding of messaging systems, with hands-on experience using platforms such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
• Strong problem-solving skills and command of data structures
• Advanced concurrency skills in Java, including knowledge of optimistic and pessimistic locking and their trade-offs
• Good command of JDBC, including its various constructs, with experience in relational database systems
• Hands-on experience with Java performance tuning, garbage collectors, and profilers
• Solid understanding of distributed design practices, with a strong appetite for continuous learning
• Sound knowledge of design patterns and their contextual application
• Strong belief in and practice of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Self-driven, responsible, and detail-oriented
• Strong collaborator with the ability to participate in and guide technical discussions
