Role: SDE IIISummary: We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer 3 to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work on developing and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work alongside experienced software engineers to design and implement complex applications, debug and resolve issues. Roles & Responsibilities: Own design, implementation, and maintenance of server-side infrastructure services and APIs.Build resilient data access layers and work with PostgreSQL, Redis (or equivalent) for transactional and caching needs.Collaborate with frontend, data, and product teams to translate product requirements into technically sound solutions.Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers.Ship quickly, gather feedback, measure adoption, and iterate, take responsibility for the full lifecycle of features you own.Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code for new features and product enhancements.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and ensure reliable releases.Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) to build cloud-native applications.Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver impactful software solutions.Requirements: Minimum 5 years of hands-on backend development experience using Java (Spring Boot preferred); Candidates with 8–10 years of experience are also welcome to apply.Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API integration.Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.About mygate:Mygate is India’s leading community living SaaS platform, trusted by 4 million+ residents across 25,000+ gated communities.
