Company Description Le Lycée Français International de Dubaï is part of the AFLEC network (Association Franco-Libanaise pour l’Éducation et la Culture) and educates students from early childhood through the end of secondary school. At the same time, it complies with the requirements of the Emirati Ministry of Education (KHDA), and all classes are officially accredited by the French Ministry of National Education.Role Description The Secondary Teacher of English will teach English language and literature to middle and high school students in accordance with the French national curriculum and the school’s pedagogical guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and differentiating instruction to support diverse learning needs. The teacher will contribute to departmental planning, participate in school meetings, collaborate with colleagues and families, and help organize projects or extracurricular activities related to English. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, requiring active participation in the school community and adherence to both French and local educational standards.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Teaching English at the secondary level.Instructional skills: Strong Lesson Planning abilities and capacity to design coherent sequences of learning aligned with the French curriculum.Communication skills: Excellent Communication abilities in English, with strong classroom management and clear, respectful interaction with students, families, and colleagues.Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; a teaching diploma or equivalent certification.Professional attributes: Commitment to student well-being and inclusion, adaptability, collaborative mindset, and ongoing professional development.
