Overseeing a portfolio exceeding AED 200 billion, it manages 600+ projects across housing, transportation, healthcare, education, and tourism.Role: Section Head- Commercial Initiatives (Emirati)Department - Commercial Engagement & AuditReports to: Director - Audit & Commercial InitiativesJob Summary - The Commercial Initiatives Section Head plays a pivotal role in the strategic development and implementation of commercial strategies to enhance the performance of the Commercial Affairs Sector. This position involves overseeing business development, partnerships, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.Roles and Responsibilities:Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with the organization's mission and objectives.Identify new business opportunities and areas for organizational growth within the company.Participation in the development of new projects and business initiatives that contribute to improving operations and achieving the company's goals.Developing and formulating business strategies that align with the infrastructure development goals and urban expansion of capital projectsManage strategic partnerships with private sector entities, contractors, and vendors to enhance the office's capabilities and project delivery.Lead business development efforts, including the identification of new markets, clients, and projects.Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals for potential initiatives.Conduct financial analysis of commercial initiatives, assessing feasibility, profitability, and risk factors.Monitor and report on performance against established goals and benchmarks.Negotiate and finalize contracts with external partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization.Engage with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and community groups, to foster collaboration and support for commercial initiatives.Job RequirementsAcademic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.Proven experience in commercial management, business development, or a related role within the construction or infrastructure sector.Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Professional ExperienceAt least 6 years of progressive experience in commercial management, business development, or a related field.Track record of successfully developing and implementing commercial strategies that contribute to organizational growth.Familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance considerations in the construction sector.Proficiency in Arabic and English beneficial, to facilitate communication with local and international stakeholders.
