🚨 Hiring: Security Guardian – Vice PresidentWe’re looking for a highly technical and hands-on Security Guardian – VP to serve as a strategic security partner to engineering, platform, and business teams.This is not a traditional GRC or security governance role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting deep into architecture, cloud environments, applications, APIs, threat models, and engineering decisions—and who can work directly with engineers to reduce real-world security risk.What you’ll be doing🔹 Conduct hands-on security assessments across applications, platforms, and cloud environments🔹 Perform threat modeling, architecture reviews, vulnerability analysis, and attacker-mindset assessments🔹 Identify cloud misconfigurations, insecure dependencies, design weaknesses, and API/agent abuse scenarios🔹 Design and validate security controls around identity, cryptography, network isolation, runtime security, and secure defaults🔹 Partner directly with engineering and platform teams as an embedded Product Security expert🔹 Drive security into the SDLC through DevSecOps, Shift-Left practices, automated testing, and secure CI/CD🔹 Advise senior leadership on complex technical security risks and architecture tradeoffsIdeal BackgroundWe’re looking for 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, with strong Product Security and Cloud Security expertise and experience in financial services.Deep expertise in at least 3 advanced security domains is highly desirable:• Product Security• Cloud / Multi-Cloud Security• Threat Modeling• Secure Architecture & Design• Agentic AI Security• Smart Contract / Blockchain Security• Software Supply Chain Security• Offensive SecurityExperience with Agentic AI Security and/or Smart Contract Security is particularly valuable.AWS/Azure security certifications, CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or similar credentials are a plus.🇺🇸 Work Authorization: USC onlyIf you’re a security architect or practitioner who likes to work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering teams and build security into systems—not just write policies about them—this could be a great opportunity.📩 Interested?
