Job Description – Security OfficerPosition: Security Officer Department: Security / Administration Location: Santej, Ahmedabad Employment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary: We are looking for an experienced and responsible Security Officer to manage and maintain overall security and safety of the manufacturing plant, employees, visitors, assets, and materials. The candidate will be responsible for supervising security personnel, controlling access, monitoring security systems, and ensuring compliance with company security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Manage overall security operations of the manufacturing plant and premises. Supervise and monitor security guards across all shifts and security points. Maintain strict entry and exit control for employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles. Verify employee/visitor identification and maintain visitor and vehicle records. Monitor CCTV cameras and report any suspicious or unusual activities. Control and verify inward and outward movement of materials, tools, equipment, and company assets. Conduct regular security rounds and inspections of the plant premises. Ensure proper checking of vehicles, bags, materials, and personnel as per company policy. Prepare and maintain security-related registers, reports, incident reports, and shift handover records. Handle security incidents, theft, unauthorized entry, disputes, and emergencies promptly. Coordinate with Police, Fire Brigade, Security Agencies, and other emergency services whenever required. Ensure compliance with company security, safety, and emergency procedures. Support fire safety, emergency evacuation, disaster management, and mock drills. Monitor contractor and labour movement within the premises. Ensure proper discipline and attendance of security guards. Conduct regular briefings and training for security personnel. Coordinate with HR, Admin, EHS/Safety, Production, Stores, and other departments on security matters. Identify security risks and recommend preventive measures to management. Perform any other security and administrative duties assigned by management. Required Qualifications & Experience:Minimum Graduate / 12th pass (as per company requirement). Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing plant security. Experience in supervising security guards and managing multiple shifts. Good knowledge of CCTV, access control, material gate-pass systems, and security procedures. Good communication, leadership, observation, and incident-handling skills. Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required.
