Location: Shoreham-by-Sea, West SussexPay: £13.00 per hourJob Type: Full-time, PermanentShift Pattern: 4 On / 4 OffHours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)Job DescriptionWest Midlands Services is looking to recruit reliable, professional and experienced Night Security Officers to join our security team at a commercial site in Shoreham-by-Sea.This is a permanent static gatehouse position, working a regular 4-on, 4-off night shift pattern.The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining site security, controlling access and vehicle movements, conducting patrols and ensuring the safety of personnel, visitors and property.Key Responsibilities- Managing gatehouse operations, including site access and egress.- Monitoring and recording all vehicle movements.- Controlling contractor, visitor and delivery access.- Conducting regular internal, external and perimeter security patrols.- Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems where applicable.- Completing daily occurrence books, incident reports and security documentation.- Carrying out routine site safety and security checks.- Responding professionally to incidents, alarms and emergencies.- Ensuring site security procedures and assignment instructions are followed.- Maintaining effective communication with site management and colleagues.- Providing excellent customer service and a professional security presence.Essential Requirements- Valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence.- Previous security experience preferred, particularly in gatehouse or industrial security.- Excellent communication and customer service skills.- Good written English and report-writing ability.- Basic computer skills.- Reliable, punctual and professional.- Ability to work independently throughout night shifts.- Strong attention to detail.What We Offer- Competitive hourly rate of £13.00- Regular 4-on, 4-off night shift rota.- 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.- Permanent employment.- Full site induction and training.- Supportive and experienced management team.- Opportunity to join a growing professional security company.How to ApplyIf you are a dependable, professional Security Officer who takes pride in maintaining high standards, we would like to hear from you.Apply today through Indeed with your CV and current SIA licence details.West Midlands ServicesProfessionalism | Reliability | Commitment
