The Security Officer may be deployed to any of the following Duty Posts:Security Control Room Duty;Lobby Duty;Loading Bay;Patrolling or Observation Duty;Back of House;VIP Parking;Or at any position where operations in Security field will benefitEnsure that all security systems function smoothly. Initiate immediate corrective action when fault is detectedAssist Management, employees and guests in every way that is consistent with the protection and prevention objectivesCoordinate with various departments and government agencies on routine matters and during emergencyMonitor back of house areas with particular attention to unauthorized entry and exit pointsMaintains records in respective Log Books for future referenceKeep Manager or Crisis Management Team informed on the latest development of situation in a crisisConduct inventory on keys, passes, walkie-talkies, pagers and all other accountable stockEnsure the cleanliness of Hotel Security Room and the surrounding areasBe fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency proceduresComply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all timesAttend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by managementReport for duty on time wearing clean and complete uniform at all timesMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesPerform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the HotelQualificationsCertificates in National Skills Recognition System, CPR, First Aid Management and Basic Fire Fighting will be advantageousAdditional InformationSecondary / High school educationCertificates in National Skills Recognition System, CPR, First Aid Management and Basic Fire Fighting will be advantageousMinimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacityGood reading, writing and oral proficiency in English languageNo criminal recordMust be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
