Security Operations Manager

We’re partnering with a market‑leading UK financial services organisation to recruit a Security Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in strengthening and evolving their cyber defence capability.This is a high‑impact leadership role where you’ll own security operations end‑to‑end, lead incident response, and work closely with the CISO to drive continuous improvement across a mature but evolving cyber function.What you’ll be doingLeading and developing a Cyber Security Operations teamActing as incident commander during cyber events and investigationsMaturing SOC, CSIRT and incident response capabilitiesDriving threat hunting, detection and monitoring improvementsOwning vulnerability management and pen test governanceEnsuring alignment with ISO27001, NIST, GDPR and regulatory expectationsCommunicating cyber risk clearly to senior stakeholdersWhat we’re looking for:Proven experience leading SOC / Cyber Security Operations teamsStrong background in incident response and threat managementExperience with SIEM, monitoring, and detection engineeringKnowledge of frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, GDPRAbility to operate at both technical and strategic levelsBenefits:Bonus scheme - 16%Hybrid working (2 days office)Private healthcarePensionOngoing professional development
