Security Operations Manager

Glasgow | Hybrid (2-3 Days Onsite)We're partnering with a global organisation to recruit a Security Operations Team Lead to oversee a busy and evolving cyber security function.This is a hands-on leadership role, combining people management with technical ownership across security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, compliance, and security tooling.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a small Security Operations team.Act as the senior escalation point for security incidents.Drive security projects and continuous improvement initiatives.Oversee vulnerability management and risk remediation.Support compliance with frameworks including ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIS2 and SOX.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external security partners.Promote security best practice across a global user base.What We're Looking ForExperience leading Security Operations, SOC, or Cyber Security teams.Strong hands-on Security Operations background.Knowledge of ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIS2 and SOX.Experience with Palo Alto, Cortex XDR and enterprise security tooling.Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Active Directory experience.Azure and/or AWS security knowledge.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.What's on OfferCompetitive salary and bonusHybrid workingPension and life assuranceGenerous holiday allowanceExcellent benefits packageThe opportunity to influence security strategy within a global organisation📍 Glasgow (2-3 days per week in office)For a confidential discussion, please get in touch.
