Security Solutions Specialist – Network OperationsLocation: Remote / Dubai for candidates already based in DubaiContract: 6 months, extendableStart: ASAPInterviews: This weekOverviewTangent International is looking for an experienced Security Solutions Specialist to support the day-to-day operation of a complex Network Access Control and network security environment.This is a hands-on operational role covering NAC, AAA, routing, switching and Next-Generation Firewall technologies across a multi-vendor enterprise environment.The successful candidate will have strong experience with FortiNAC or equivalent technologies such as HPE Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE, alongside solid network and firewall troubleshooting capabilities.ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain FortiNAC or equivalent NAC platforms.Manage endpoint visibility, profiling, posture assessment and access enforcement.Support wired, wireless, OT and IoT access control policies.Operate RADIUS authentication and TACACS+ device administration.Troubleshoot AAA, authentication and NAC integration issues.Maintain integrations between NAC, switches, wireless controllers, NGFWs and identity platforms.Operate and monitor routing, switching and NGFW environments.Troubleshoot IPS, web filtering, application control, antivirus and firewall policies.Diagnose BGP, MPLS, VLAN and general TCP/IP connectivity issues.Support and troubleshoot EVPN-VXLAN environments.Perform packet captures and traffic analysis.Investigate incidents and contribute to root-cause analysis.Maintain operational documentation, run-books and configuration records.Work closely with network, infrastructure, SOC and compliance teams.Required SkillsHands-on FortiNAC or equivalent NAC experience, including Aruba ClearPass and/or Cisco ISE.Strong RADIUS, TACACS+ and AAA knowledge.Strong routing, switching and firewall experience.Experience with technologies from Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Arista and/or HPE Aruba.NGFW operational experience.Strong TCP/IP, VLAN, routing and switching fundamentals.Strong troubleshooting and incident-response capabilities.Experience analysing logs, alerts and security events.Experience working within live production environments.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.Nice to HaveFortinet NSE certifications or equivalent.CCNA, CCNP, CCIE or equivalent Cisco certifications.Enterprise, financial services, ISP or service-provider experience.ISO 27001, GDPR or PCI-DSS knowledge.Automation or scripting experience.Why Apply?This is an opportunity to work hands-on across a broad multi-vendor security and networking estate, covering NAC, NGFW, enterprise networking and advanced troubleshooting.The initial contract is six months with the potential to extend, with an ASAP start.How to ApplyInterviews are taking place this week.Please send your latest CV to james.bundock@tanint.com.
