Spanning 275,000 square metres, the very best of indulgence, relaxation, and adventure come together in an All-Inclusive experience like no other- all-encompassing, uncompromising, and unmatched.Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYThe Security Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of guests, employees, visitors, contractors, and hotel property.Under the supervision of the Director of Security, the Security Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily security operations, maintaining constant vigilance in assigned areas, controlling access to the property, preventing unauthorized entry or removal of persons and materials, responding to incidents and emergencies, and ensuring that all hotel security policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed.The Security Supervisor is expected to demonstrate strong leadership, sound judgment, professionalism, integrity, and a proactive approach to security and risk prevention while maintaining a high standard of guest service.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesSecurity OperationsKeep the Assistant Security Manager / Director of Security informed of all security-related matters. Coordinate with the Director of Engineering on matters relating to fire, safety, and security responsibilities, as applicable. Liaise with hotel management and employees to assist with security issues, loss prevention, and control. Liaise with local law enforcement, fire and safety authorities, and other relevant authorities when required. Maintain proper grooming and professional appearance at all times. Attend all required training sessions as scheduled. Demonstrate full cooperation, respect, and professionalism within the Security Department and with other hotel departments. Maintain knowledge of the hotel's daily activities, facilities, services, and operations. Supervise the daily activities of the Security team and ensure all assigned security posts are properly staffed. Conduct frequent inspections and supervision of all security posts, including the CCTV room. Ensure all security personnel follow established access-control and security procedures. Ensure appropriate control of employee access and proximity-card procedures at designated staff entrances. Strictly control the movement of contractors, visitors, suppliers, and other authorized persons in and out of back-of-house areas. Ensure visitor passes are properly issued, recorded, and controlled. Monitor and control the movement of materials, equipment, and other items entering or leaving the hotel. Continuously evaluate potential security threats and take appropriate preventive measures. Maintain confidentiality of all security records, reports, investigations, and sensitive hotel information. Security Reporting & DocumentationSupervise the preparation and distribution of security reports to hotel management. Ensure all security incidents and relevant activities are properly documented. Review the Duty Manager/Night Manager logbook daily and take appropriate corrective action regarding security-related matters. Review the Security Department logbook daily and take appropriate action when required. Keep the Security Manager informed of significant incidents, risks, and corrective actions. Maintain accurate and confidential records relating to security operations. Ensure all security documentation is maintained in accordance with company standards and procedures. Emergency & Crisis ManagementEnsure that all Security employees are thoroughly familiar with the hotel's emergency procedures. Ensure the Security team remains fully preparedQualificationsBachelor's degree or university degree in any field. Minimum 2 years of experience in a Security Supervisor or similar supervisory security role. Hotel or resort security experience is required. Previous experience in a 5-star/luxury hotel environment is strongly preferred. Experience in the UAE or GCC hospitality sector is an advantage. Strong knowledge of hotel security procedures, emergency response, access control, incident reporting, and loss prevention. Good working knowledge of fire and life-safety procedures. Good computer skills, including the ability to prepare reports and maintain security records. Strong spoken and written communication skills in English.
