Security Technology Manager

Discovery Dunes Golf Club is looking for an experienced Security Technology Manager to take the lead on the technology behind our physical security operations.From CCTV and access control to vehicle identification, perimeter detection and our Security Operations Center, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our security technology works together, reliably and intelligently.Role PurposeResponsible for planning, designing, implementing, integrating, operating, maintaining and upgrading the Club’s physical security technology systems and infrastructure, ensuring they support the overall security strategy and comply with applicable UAE and Dubai regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee CCTV / Video Management Systems (VMS).Manage access control systems, including Salto and related infrastructure.Oversee ANPR / vehicle identification, perimeter intrusion detection and other security detection systems.Support and develop the Security Operations Center (SOC), including PSIM and security technology integrations.Manage intercom, emergency communication and security communication systems.Oversee security barriers, gates and related technology.Integrate security systems to provide a unified operational capability. Plan and manage security technology projects from design and procurement through installation, FAT, SAT, commissioning and handover.Ensure systems are properly documented, tested and maintained.Manage security technology vendors, contractors and service providers.Develop maintenance strategies, preventive maintenance schedules and system lifecycle plans.Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for upgrades and improvements.Manage technology-related budgets, quotations and project costs.Maintain accurate technical documentation, drawings, configurations and asset registers.Work closely with Security Operations, IT, Development and other departments where security technology interfaces with their infrastructure.Evaluate and introduce appropriate emerging security technologies.Ensure all systems and installations comply with applicable SIRA, Dubai Police, UAE Civil Defence, privacy/data protection and other local regulatory requirements.Provide technical guidance and leadership to security technology personnel and contractors.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Security Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.Approximately 8–10 years’ experience in physical security technology.Minimum 5 years’ experience managing large-scale security technology projects.Strong practical experience with CCTV/VMS, access control, ANPR, intrusion detection and security-system integration.Experience with SOC/PSIM environments and complex security technology infrastructure.Strong understanding of SIRA requirements and Dubai security regulations.Preferred CertificationsPSP / CPPPMP / PRINCE2CCNA / Network+Relevant manufacturer certifications for CCTV, access control and security technology platforms.Why Join Us?At Discovery Dunes Golf Club, you'll be immersed in an elite and exclusive environment where your contributions are valued.
