Artists &Fleas operates two permanent retail marketplaces in New York City: Chelsea andWilliamsburg.Manhattan VintageManhattan Vintage is New York City’s premier vintage show, showcasing everythingfrom rare archival fashion to everyday vintage across all price points, eras, andstyles. Manhattan Vintage is experiencing rapid growth, scaling from three eventsannually to 13, with continued expansion into new markets planned for 2027.Material MattersLaunched in February 2026, Material Matters is a new kind of home show for peoplewho collect with intention, mix eras with ease, and believe the right piece cantransform a room and outlast any trend. The show brings together vintage andcontemporary home objects, art, décor, rugs, lighting, seating, ceramics, textiles,ephemera, and more.We are looking for a Digital Conversion & Retention Manager to upgrade and own ourdigital marketing funnel - from when shoppers first learn about our brands to when theywalk in the door. We are a small but mighty team running 3 market-place businesses thatshare a dedication to in-person shopping, discovery, and supporting small businessesalong the way. We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in driving foottraffic to brick & mortar retail environments.While this role will own our digital touch points: our website, paid ads, email, & conversion,and tying marketing initiatives back to physical foot traffic, it is important to note that ourgoal is to develop a rich and committed in-person community through a multi-channelapproach.Your goals:Find creative and new ways to drive awareness and ultimately foot traffic to Artists & FleasIncrease qualified merchant applicationsIncrease customer retention and brand loyalty across all three brandsServe as a creative leader and collaborator in continuously upgrading overallmarketing ROI and efficiencyKey Responsibilities:Manage Paid Ad Consultant + Monitor Performance Including monitoring budgetallocations, creative briefs, and messagingOwn Email & SMS a retention lever: Develop and manage all customer lifecycleautomation (flows and campaigns) within Klaviyo to transform our subscriber list intoa loyal, high-value community. Maximize subscriber value, retention, and loyalty.Search & Generative AI: Develop a strategy to ensure our brands surface in searchand ai.Website Optimization: Drive and execute a conversion rate optimization (CRO)roadmap across brand websites and key landing pages.Ticketing Operations and Conversion: Set up and manage event pages on ourticketing platform. Track daily ticket "pacing" against historical goals. You’ll ownlanding page testing and site optimization. Test & learn ticket pricing and packagingoptions, optimizing for revenue.Data Reporting: Establish a robust, scalable reporting and analytics framework.Deliver weekly performance insights on conversion funnels and retention KPIs toleadership.Technology Ownership & Vendor Management: Own all digital tools necessary forconversion and retention (e.g., Klaviyo, Eventbrite) and Google Analytics. Managevendor relationships and budgets, including negotiating commercial terms (e.g., feestructure and discounts, as recently done with Eventbrite). Ensure seamlessintegration and data flow between all platforms.Loyalty Program on the horizon - help launch our first loyalty programsQualifications:Who you are: You're energized by connecting people, ideas, and opportunities, andare passionate about supporting independent businesses, creators, andentrepreneurs and have a passion for building communities and in-personexperiences. Digital marketing is just one tool in our tool box - not the end product!You’re hands on and proactive and like building personal relationships.Experience: 4–7 years of demonstrated experience in digital performance marketing,specializing in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and Customer LifecycleManagement (CLM). Must have experience driving foot traffic to Brick and Mortarretail/ Ticket sales experience preferred. Ideally, experience in community-drivenbrands, marketplaces, experiential retail, events, hospitality, or other environmentswhere relationships and experience matter as much as the product.Technical Chops: Advanced proficiency in email platforms (e.g., Klaviyo), Eventbrite(or similar ticketing platforms) and Google Analytics. Comfortable with Shopify, WebFlow, Squarespace.Agility: You're comfortable working across multiple brands, juggling priorities, andnot having perfect data.Please note, some weekends are required.Salary: $85K - $120K commensurate with experience
