We're looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team and make a lasting difference to the lives of pupils with a range of additional needs.This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to create meaningful learning experiences, build genuine connections with pupils, and help young people develop the skills, confidence and resilience they need to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.Working in a supportive and collaborative environment, you'll deliver personalized teaching, nurture positive relationships, and help pupils achieve outcomes they may never have thought possible.What You'll Be DoingPlanning and delivering engaging, tailored lessons that meet individual learning needs.Adapting teaching approaches to support pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, learning difficulties and complex needs.Monitoring, assessing and celebrating pupil progress, ensuring every learner reaches their potential.Developing and reviewing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.Creating a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel valued and supported.Working closely with colleagues, families and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.About YouQualified with QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree required.Passionate about SEND education and committed to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.Experienced in supporting children and young people with additional needs, including Autism and complex learning profiles.Patient, resilient and nurturing, with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships.Creative and adaptable, able to tailor learning to suit individual strengths and needs.A strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.About Us Norton College is a specialist school with in Tewkesbury, supporting young people aged 11–19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism and complex learning needs.
