🚨 SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT – WOLVERHAMPTON | IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY 🚨📍 Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands 💼 Job Type: Full-time | Temporary / Permanent 🏫 Setting: School 👥 Support: 1:1 & small-group SEN supportAre you a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant or Behaviour Support professional passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive?We're looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Wolverhampton.🌟 What you'll be doing:✅ Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND ✅ Support pupils with Autism (ASC/ASD), ADHD, SEMH and speech & language needs ✅ Help implement EHCPs and IEPs ✅ Adapt classroom activities to individual learning needs ✅ Support positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and independence ✅ Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers/SENCO ✅ Support pupils during lessons, breaktimes, trips and activities ✅ Provide personal care support where required ✅ Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment ✅ Work closely with teachers, parents and external professionals🔎 We're particularly interested in candidates with:⭐ SEN/SEND school experience ⭐ Teaching Assistant or Learning Support experience ⭐ Autism / ADHD / SEMH experience ⭐ 1:1 pupil support experience ⭐ Behaviour management experience ⭐ EHCP / IEP experience ⭐ Strong safeguarding awarenessPrevious experience supporting children with SEN/SEND is highly desirable.🔐 Safeguarding: The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, references and all required pre-employment checks in line with KCSIE guidance.📩 Interested?
