Senior A/V Collaboration Engineer

Hiring: Senior A/V Collaboration Engineer📍 [City, State] | On-site | Enterprise banking environmentThis is a hands-on role. You'll be in the rooms, on the ladder, and behind the rack — and you'll also be the one who specs the next build, writes the bill of materials, and holds the integrator to account.You'll own the engineering, design, and day-to-day operation of the bank's voice, video, and collaboration systems.What you'll do▪️ Tier 2 support across collaboration, voice, and video systems▪️ Run live events — town halls, fireside chats — and fix or work around issues under pressure▪️ Program and configure systems installed by third-party A/V integrators▪️ Build BOMs, drawings, and time estimates for A/V in new construction▪️ Own the vendor relationship and act as internal escalation for all things A/V▪️ Isolate root cause with Cisco RM, SolarWinds, or equivalent▪️ Remediate A/V hardware to IT Security's vulnerability standards▪️ Commission new conference rooms and train local staff post-installWhat you need▪️ Bachelor's degree, or HS diploma + 5 years relevant experience▪️ 5+ years installing and configuring pro A/V — switchers, extenders, amps, DSP, control systems, mics (QSC, Shure, Crestron, Biamp, Cisco)▪️ Hands-on with Cisco codecs, displays, and microphones▪️ Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex▪️ Cloud-based interoperability solutions▪️ Solid grasp of IP communications and protocols▪️ Comfortable reading A/V design diagrams and specs▪️ Real cable work — terminations, pulls, rack builds, mounting displaysNice to have▪️ AVIXA (InfoComm) CTS-I▪️ Crestron, Biamp, ClickShare, Cisco Codec, or QSC programming/certification▪️ Cisco CCNA Collaboration▪️ CAD or Visio for A/V design diagrams
