We value empathy, integrity, student success, and practical guidance tailored to individual goals.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Academic Counselor to provide personalized academic guidance to students while supporting their educational planning and progression. This part-time, fully remote role is ideal for an experienced education professional who can understand individual student needs, recommend appropriate academic pathways, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational partners.The successful candidate will play an important role in helping students evaluate options, establish realistic academic goals, and make informed decisions about their next steps.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personalized academic and educational guidance based on students’ interests, abilities, and goals.Conduct consultations with students and families to understand academic needs and aspirations.Advise students on suitable programs, institutions, courses, and educational pathways.Support students with academic planning, application preparation, and decision-making.Maintain accurate records of student consultations, progress, applications, and follow-up activities.Monitor student needs and provide timely recommendations or referrals when appropriate.Build trusted relationships with students, parents, educators, and institutional representatives.Coordinate with admissions, student services, and education partners to support successful outcomes.Organize webinars, information sessions, workshops, and other student engagement activities.Contribute insights and recommendations to improve counseling services and student experience.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.3+ years of experience in academic counseling, student advising, education, admissions, student services, or a related field is preferred.Strong understanding of academic pathways, educational planning, and student support practices.Excellent communication, active listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong ability to assess student needs and provide practical, individualized guidance.Excellent organizational skills with careful attention to student records and documentation.Familiarity with digital counseling, CRM, education management, and communication platforms.Ability to handle sensitive student information with professionalism and discretion.Strong problem-solving and relationship-management capabilities.Empathetic, patient, proactive, and comfortable working independently with students remotely.What We OfferFlexible part-time hours within a fully remote working environment.Competitive compensation aligned with experience and responsibilities.Opportunities to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic and career decisions.Exposure to diverse learners, educational institutions, and international academic pathways.Professional development opportunities in counseling, student success, and education services.A supportive and collaborative environment focused on student outcomes and continuous improvement.
