Senior Account Director

Role Description The Senior Account Director will lead key relationships with partner organizations, grantees, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment between their initiatives and the foundation’s strategic priorities. This part-time hybrid role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing strategic account plans, guiding the implementation of funded projects, and monitoring performance against agreed objectives and impact metrics. The Senior Account Director will coordinate cross-functional teams, facilitate clear communication between internal and external partners, and address risks or challenges that arise during project delivery. The role also involves identifying new partnership opportunities, contributing to fundraising and stakeholder engagement strategies, and providing senior-level input into the foundation’s long-term vision.QualificationsStrong account management skills, including relationship building, stakeholder engagement, and strategic account planning.Proven experience in team management and team leadership, with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop diverse teams.Demonstrated success in sales or partnership development, particularly in impact-driven, philanthropic, or non-profit environments.Solid project management skills, including planning, execution, budgeting, and performance monitoring.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch or Arabic is an advantage.Experience working in or with philanthropic organizations, NGOs, public sector bodies, or policy-focused initiatives is beneficial.Ability to operate strategically while managing operational details, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Political Science, Public Policy, Business, International Relations, or a related discipline.Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Dubai, with flexibility to collaborate across time zones and cultures.
