Senior Account Executive

Seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Account Executive to grow wholesale business across all tiers of distribution. Ideal candidate is one to nurture existing customer base; and develop new key customer relationships in effort to build profitable efficient programs that will drive volume and deliver healthy margins for the Company and our retail partners.$125K HYBRIDKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain existing and develop strong strategic customer relationships in building successful long-term businessesMaintain current and keen understanding of competitive retail landscape by category and strategic retail price points across all channels of distributionPrepare for customer meetings with clear agenda; including proposed category assortments by delivery, suggested target retail price points, and understanding of current style selling performanceMonitor weekly selling performance to maximize in season reorder opportunitiesTake ownership and have clear understanding of on hand inventory and incoming w.i.p.Maintain current up to date customer sales order book; ensure all sales orders are entered into the system accurately; and timely communicate delivery slides to customersLiaise with design, sourcing, and customer service as necessary to ensure timely deliveriesEnsure showroom is prepared in advance of customer meetings and key market weeksCollaborate with design and merchandising in providing critical retail feedback regarding current retail performance and sales trendsLead seasonal best/worst seller meetingsTravel to accounts as necessaryQUALIFICATIONS:Minimum seven years’ sales Denim/Sportswear experienceStrong track record in meeting and exceeding sales targetsExcellent verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skillsAbility to react quickly with a strong sense of urgencyAbility to take initiative and ownership of projectsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentMaintain positive and upbeat demeanorProficient in excel and retail math
