Senior Accountant (Accounts Receivable & Credit Risk)

Support global finance operations by managing billing, accounts receivable, collections, credit risk, and financial reporting, while ensuring accurate records, effective risk control, and compliance with accounting and tax requirements.Key Responsibilities1. Billing & ARIssue and review invoices accurately and on timeMaintain customer billing and tax information in SAPResolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries2. CollectionsReconcile customer payments and monitor AR balancesPrepare AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accountsEscalate collection issues and potential bad-debt risks3. Closing & ReportingSupport month-end and year-end closing activitiesPrepare reconciliations, audit schedules, and tax supporting documentsParticipate in process improvements and system projects4. Credit ManagementReview customer creditworthiness and recommend credit limitsMonitor credit exposure, payment behavior, and credit insurance coverageSupport credit risk assessment and reportingQualificationsExperience & EducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field5-8 years of accounting experience, preferably in AR or credit controlSkills & CompetencyKnowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems; SAP experience is preferredStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsGood command of EnglishPreferredE-commerce experienceKnowledge of EU VAT regulations
