Senior Accountant

Tailor my CV for this job — freeOur client, a well-established company in the industrial equipment sector with operations across the GCC, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant for its Qatar branch. Key responsibilities:
- Post all accounting transactions accurately and on time (AP, AR, GL, payroll and fixed assets)
- Prepare monthly bank, vendor and customer reconciliations
- Manage the branch petty cash
- Ensure compliance with Qatar tax regulations and support tax return filing
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cash flow planning
- Monitor receivables, supplier accounts, inventory and procurement
- Maintain internal controls and organized financial records
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent (full or part-qualified) preferred
- 5–7 years of accounting experience
- At least 2–3 years of experience in Qatar (mandatory)
- Experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Valid Qatar driving license preferred (not mandatory)
- Available to join immediately or on short notice (candidates in Qatar with a transferable visa preferred)
