The company is proud of its commitment to customer satisfaction and continues to focus on quality, creativity, and memorable experiences.Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Ain, responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s financial accounting and reporting activities. This includes preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing. The role involves managing budgets, forecasting cash flow, reconciling bank accounts, and supporting internal and external audits. The Senior Accountant will implement and maintain financial controls, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and provide financial analysis to support management decisions. The person in this role will collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and management teams to optimize costs and support the company’s growth plans.QualificationsStrong proficiency in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.Totally Minimum 7 years of accounting experience and 4 years in the UAE.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting to management.Knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit procedures in the UAE or GCC region.Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems; strong Excel and spreadsheet skills.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.Proven experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role, ideally retail, bakery, FMCG, or food & beverage industry is highly preferred.Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple deadlines.Clear and professional communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality and ethical financial practices.
