Senior Accountant

Our client is a growing organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys owning the month-end close process, preparing financial reports, and partnering cross-functionally in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a hands-on role where they can contribute to process improvements while supporting the company's continued growth.=ResponsibilitiesPrepare and record journal entries and maintain the general ledgerPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling itemsSupport the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reportingPrepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting analysesAssist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPSupport annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requestsReview accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policiesPartner with FP&A and other business teams to support reporting and operational initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and efficienciesParticipate in special projects, system implementations, and other ad hoc initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3–6+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end closeExperience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reportingProficiency with Excel and ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similarPublic accounting experience and/or CPA is a plusExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionallyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
